Tina Turner’s £58,000,000 Swiss retreat ‘to be turned into museum honouring her life’ by widower

’s ‘weekend retreat’ is set to be transformed into a museum dedicated to her life, according to reports.

News of the rock ‘n’ roll icon’s death shocked the world earlier this week when her representatives

Her team announced in a statement that  in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland, following a ‘long illness’ at the age of 83.

Tributes poured in for the rock ‘n’ roll queen from fans and famous friends around the world,  , and even  expressing their sadness and

Fans also visited her mansion, at the gate.

It has now been said that her widower wants to turn their £58million holiday home into an immersive experience that honours her stardom.

The sprawling property in Stäfa is just 30 minutes away from the mansion on the banks of Lake Zurich which Turner shared with husband Erwin Bach.

According to Swiss newspaper Blick and in quotes obtained by , the retreat could now be used to display memorabilia from throughout her career.

Turner married Bach, 67, 10 years ago after a 27-year romance.

The married couple had an incredibly strong bond, with the German music executive donating one of his kidneys to her when she needed a transplant in 2017.

He also stuck by her side when she suffered a stroke just three weeks after their Swiss wedding and needed to learn to walk again.

Following the devastating loss of his wife, he is now thought to be inheriting almost half of her £200million fortune.

In fact, one of the reasons why Turner’s wealth was so high is thanks to her savviness two years ago.

The Proud Mary hitmaker for a whopping £40million.

The star made the deal – which included her music rights – with BMG.

BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch, 68, said at the time: ‘Tina Turner’s musical journey has inspired hundreds of millions of people around the world and continues to reach new audiences.

Turner’s fortune amassed really from nothing, as she grew up in rural poverty in Tennessee; an experience she described in her hit single Nutbush City Limits.

What she’s left behind is a combination of profits from streams of her music, as well as her roles in films like Tommy, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, and Last Action Hero.

A biopic named What’s Love Got to Do With It was also released in 1993, telling the heartbreaking story of her battle to hold onto her stage name during her divorce from her abusive ex-husband, and music partner, Ike Turner.
