She shared that she hoped it was a once-off occurrence but begged supporters to be more mindful of artists while watching their sets. 

Tinashe said: ‘I think what happened to them is hopefully random incidents, I hope it’s not a reflection of the culture in general but I do think that we always have to be considerate of artists on stage and have way more couth and we have to be way more respectful and understanding that we’re human beings.

She thought back on her own experiences on tour and admitted there had been some tense moments during her early career. 

‘It’s been a while honestly, I feel like earlier on in my career there were maybe some more of those,’ the star began.  

Tinashe went on to say: ‘I’ve been very lucky that my fans have been very nice and very respectful in recent times luckily so hopefully we keep it up.

‘I think it happens when you’re on stage and you’re in a vulnerable position and there are people in the audience there’s going to be situations where people get rowdy, out of control, disrespectful etc – so I think it’s just important to keep in mind that you know what’s going to happen out there.

Teasing fans, she announced she was hitting the charts once again with a brand new song and collection of bangers. 

‘I’m going to keep it one hundred, I have a new song coming out in July, very excited about that! 

‘Once that new song comes out we’re going to start the role out into my new project. I’ve been working on it for a little over a year and a half now so it’s been cooking. I’m really ready to release it.’
