Towie’s Georgia Kousoulou spoke candidly about her grief after suffering a devastating miscarriage with partner Tommy Mallet.
The reality TV stars, who share two-year-old son Brody, discoveredat their 12-week scan in April.
In Thursday’s episode of their ITVBe docuseries, Baby Steps, Georgia, 31, opened up about trying to ‘stay positive’ after learning from doctor’s their baby’s ‘sack was too small.’
As Georgia and Tommy, 30, waited for further results, they decided to and take a family holiday to their caravan to spend some time with their loved ones.
In the teaser clip for next week’s episode, Tommy heartbreakingly tells viewers: ‘Unfortunately we didn’t get the results that we were staying positive for and Georgia’s had a miscarriage.’
Speaking later to the camera, Georgia breaks down in tears and says: ‘When someone says that baby’s not going to make it, it’s like “What do you mean?’, I don’t get it.
Curled up on the sofa in tears, Georgia tells Tommy: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever felt pain like it. It’s so hard ain’t it.’
Last month, Georgia shared a black and white photo taken from her hospital bed, breaking the devastating news to her 2million Instagram followers.
‘Our 12 week scan to be told our baby had not survived & I needed an op…,’ she wrote.
‘12 weeks of feeling every emotion , hoping & praying but in the end , nothing else we could of done.
‘We don’t really have the words to say right now except we are lucky to have amazing family & friends around us .. & most importantly we are blessed to have our beautiful brody who we couldn’t of got through this without him.
‘We will have the words soon but right now we are taking time for us as a family.’
They were inundated with support with Stacey Solomon responding: ‘Sending you so much love and strength. I’m so sorry,’ while Love Island’s Faye Winter added: ‘Sending you all so much love.’
Tommy soon followed with his own post to say how ‘proud’ he is of Georgia.
He shared: ‘& just like that life changes, it’s been a rough few days for my family but as always we keep it moving, Georgia is on the mend and it’s mine and Brodys mission to build her back up..
‘We was documenting the pregnancy for our show and found out the bad news whilst filming, and as a family we’ve always said we need to keep it real no matter what, so we are going to finish the show off and hopefully help some people along the way! (sic)
He added: ‘I’m so proud of Georgia, thank you for the messages we really appreciate it.’
Georgia and Tommy began dating in 2014 and announced their engagement in February 2022 following a trip to Mexico.
