The first trailer for ’s may have landed, but fans were convinced they were watching the teaser for another show entirely after mistaking the title.
The much-anticipated series is an intimate look at the chaotic life of the heavyweight champion , who is struggling keep himself occupied , and his family, including wife and their six children.
But instead of a glimpse into Tyson’s world post-boxing, viewers read the title wrong and believed it was a clip for an upcoming series about, people who are interested in animal characters with human-like features.
In reference to the fact they believed the show was called ‘At Home with the Furries’, a YouTube user wrote: ‘Lol I didn’t read that fast enough.’
‘I really thought Furries,’ another fan penned, while a third commented: ‘Imagine a Netflix series titled “At Home with the Furries”. I would watch that.’
Elsewhere, the trailer shared a glimpse into the life of Tyson’s brother Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, who found love on Love Island and are , seven months.
Prior to the tot’s birth Tommy, 24, is seen in the clip making an to – but only because he had mixed up a couple of labour terms.
Tommy promised he was going to be ‘right there’… to ‘cut the placenta’ before being corrected by Molly-Mae that, in fact, he will be snipping the umbilical cord.
In the synopsis of At Home with the Furys, it explains that the docu-series will feature ‘exclusive access’ to Tyson’s home life ‘as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his extraordinary family’, which also includes his father John.
‘Alongside the chaotic school run, the series will see Tyson constantly looking for projects to keep him busy – from a national tour to meet his fans, to lavish weekends away and impromptu family camping trips – all while trying to resist the urge to return to the ring,’ it states.
At Home with the Furys premieres on Wednesday August 16 on Netflix.
