Khloe Kardashian’s best friend, , has opened up about how she’s coping as a new mom-of-two after her drama with .
The Kardashians star, 38, via a surrogate, but has yet to share any pictures of the newborn or reveal his name.
However, , after it emerged that the 31-year-old had fathered another child at the end of last year.
Malika appeared on the Reality with the King podcast when talk turned to her pal’s growing family, with the host questioning how the Good American designer is.
‘I think she’s doing about as well as you could expect for someone in her circumstances,’ she said. ‘She’s not the first woman to ever endure adversity in a relationship or be forgiving, but there are some glory times that are meant to just be glory times that have been stripped from her and it’s sad.
‘She really is one of the strongest people I know, because she’s got a good head on her shoulders.
‘Faith is something else, and she’s got a great deal of it. I’ll tell you that much, because this ain’t easy. It’s not easy for me to watch, so I know it’s not easy for her.’
‘Family is so important to both us and it’s not the same [situation as it is] when it’s just you,’ she continued. ‘We have these kids now, we have these babies. Their fathers are very intricate portions of their lives and they’re good fathers.
‘What happens with the moms and the spouses, we can all sit here and say some s**t should never happen, but it does and I think that’s when you have to remind yourself of who the priority is and its these babies.’
Khloe welcomed her second child with Tristan last month, but has not yet spoken publicly about the little one.
The former couple, who are also parents to daughter True, amid speculation over their relationship.
A representative told Metro.co.uk at the time: ‘We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.
‘Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.
‘We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.’
Khloe and Tristan started dating in 2016 and welcomed little True two years later, but had been dogged by cheating rumours during the pregnancy.
They reunited but decided to go their separate ways again once after it emerged that Tristan had fathered baby Theo with Maralee Nichols last December – with cameras on hand to capture their romance ending.
He had initially denied that the child was his, but later apologized publicly after a paternity test proved he was the father.
Tristan also has son Prince, five, with his ex, Jordan Craig.
