turned 50 on Monday and marked her milestone birthday by posting a string of makeup-free photos on Instagram.
The runway star also shared some wise words with her followers – saying that aging is a ‘blessing’ – but many were more concerned with addressing the fact Tyra appeared to have edited the pictures.
People were quick to notice that the towering birthday cake sitting in front of Tyra looked like it’d been Photoshopped in and rushed to the comment section to ask the A-lister what was going on.
One person wrote: ‘Is the cake supposed to be Photoshopped in? It’s bothering me.’
Another added: ‘But why is the cake edited in?’
‘Lol there’s no way that cake is real, that flame ain’t even moving,’ quipped someone else.
Other comments included: ‘Is this cake superimposed on the photo?’ and ‘That is not a real cake!’
Tyra has yet to confirm whether the cake is real, but alongside her snaps did share a powerful message.
Reflecting on the fact that some people are uncomfortable with the idea of getting older, she wisely wrote: ‘I gotta say, my mind is FIERCER THAN EVER. Wise, baby.’
Tyra added: ‘I think we have to look at aging and these big milestone years like, “I GET to be that age”. A Blessing.’
She went on: ‘If you’re younger than me, I HOPE you get to reach my age and BEYOND.
‘Because it feels damn good.’
The actress also offered up some words of wisdom for those followers who may feel as though they’re stuck in a slump.
‘You don’t have to stay stuck. You can start off doing one thing, and as the years go by, you switch that up,’ she penned.
Tyra concluded her message on a positive note, saying: ‘2024 is around the corner and we are gonna DREAM really BIG…together.’
