Tyson Fury targets WWE fight with Drew McIntyre for Cardiff stadium show and confirms SummerSlam talks

has every intention of returning to this year as he targets a big fight with Drew McIntyre.

The at ’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, and now his focus could turn to the world of wrestling as he admitted he hopes to be at both SummerSlam and the company’s show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Speaking in a press conference after his fight, he was asked about and said: ‘Don’t rule me out of fighting there. You might see me at SummerSlam coming up soon.

‘I’ve got to speak to Vince [McMahon] and the boys. Maybe make this happen. I know Drew McIntyre has been saying a lot of things about me. I have to knock him out.

‘I’d love to be at Cardiff, I’d love to be back at centre stage in the UK, especially for the wrestling. I enjoyed it last time in Saudi Arabia, it was fantastic. To come here and do it would be phenomenal.

‘I’m definitely gonna make a bit of contact and see, can we make that SummerSlam thing a reality?’

WWE will put on itson September 3, while SummerSlam is confirmed for July 30 at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Fury, but he has repeatedly made it clear he wants to be back in WWE.

‘One million per cent,’ he previously said. ‘You will see me in the WWE again. One million per cent.’

And the Scottish Warrior McIntyre had urged Fury not to ‘screw up’ his fight against Whyte, will hyping up their own potential clash.

‘He might not look like the athlete of the day but he goes and goes like an Energizer bunny,’ he said earlier this week. ‘I’ve got my money on Tyson, but all I’ll say is, “Don’t screw it up.”
