is set to make a guest appearance on the , it has been announced.
The 33-year-old WBC heavyweight champion will join presenters , Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, Alex Scott and on Monday night.
Known to fans as the Gypsy King, he will offer ‘insight and opinion’ on the performances of a line-up of celebrity athletes competing for medals on the show.
The Games will see 12 celebrities battle it out over a week of live programming, competing in events including diving, cycling, running and weightlifting.
Each celeb will be trying to rack up enough points to get them to the top of the medals table and crowned champion of The Games 2022.
Among those competing are ex-Love Islanders Wes Nelson and Olivia Attwood, former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman, model and autism ambassador Christine McGuinness and The Wanted star Max George.
Tyson will lead a roster of sports stars making guest appearances on the show each night.
On Monday, he will be joined by Olympic gold medallist heptathlete Denise Lewis and Olympic gold medallist diver Matty Lee.
Later in the week, there will be appearances from Hollie Arnold, Dame Sarah Storey, Jermaine Jenas and Daley Thompson.
Hosted live by Holly and Freddie, The Games will feature former professional footballer and presenter Alex as trackside reporter and former footballer and presenter Chris as commentator.
Tyson’s appearance on the show comes after rumours of him retiring from professional boxing surfaced.
The sporting legend recently reigned supreme after beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, and has insisted he’s stepping back from boxing, despite the likes of to the ring.
Tyson has maintained his days in the ring are over, though, after his stunning seventh round knockout win in April.
Not everyone is convinced the undefeated champ will stick to his promise, however, particularly with the looming possibility of a fight to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis looming later this year.
In his personal life, Tyson has been surrounded by speculation he is preparing to welcome his seventh child.
Tyson and wife Paris – who have been together for over 15 years – already have two daughters, Venezuela and Valencia Amber, and three sons called Prince John James, Prince II and Prince Adonis Amaziah.
However, pal Carl Froch ignited rumours that the boxer wants to retire to spend more time with his growing brood, telling BBC Breakfast that Paris is pregnant.
The Games starts on May 9 at 9pm on ITV.
