has shared details about the intricate slip dress she wore at son ’s wedding to in Florida’s Palm Springs over the weekend.
Being the perfect spokesperson and model for her own label, the singer-turned-fashion-designer revealed that her dress is ‘the first Victoria Beckham couture dress made in our Atelier’, which took her ‘incredible team five days to make’.
The 47-year-old star posted images of herself in the dress ahead of the celebration on her Instagram Stories, and wrote the accompanying message: ‘A special dress for a special day, the first Victoria Beckham couture dress made by our London atelier.
‘The bespoke fabric was developed by one of my favourite mills in Italy, it’s like liquid metal and hangs so beautifully. The lace is actually three different styles, placed to create a new lace and then hand embroidered.’
She added: ‘It’s been a labour of love and I’m so grateful to my incredible team for creating something so beautiful to me.’
Victoria was keeping her designs in the family, informing her followers that her mother Jackie Adams was wearing custom VB, and that model girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, was also wearing a blue silk dress from her collection.
According to , who bought the exclusive rights to Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, the ‘fabric was inspired by the reflection of the moonlight on the ocean at night’. It was also designed to ‘echo the glamour of ’40s Hollywood, but with the sassiness of the ’70s club scene.’

Daughter-in-law Nicola didn’t seem to mind as she replied simply: ‘Thank you.’
Meanwhile, the newlyweds are expected to go off on their honeymoon around Europe soon.
