Celebrity SAS: Who Dares wins returns to Channel 4 tonight with a fresh bunch of famous faces set to be put through their paces in the Jordanian desert, however Ant Middleton will be missing.
Instead, this year’s series will also introduce a new chief instructor after Ant departed the show last year.
Taking his place is , who will be taking charge with fellow newcomer DS Remi Adeleke joining him.
Together, the pair will team up with long-standing team members Billy Billingham and Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox.
What has Ant Middleton been up to since leaving SAS: Who Dares Wins?
Ant Middleton left SAS: Who Dares Wins in the UK last March. At the time, Channel 4 said that Ant would not be making future series of Who Dares Wins due to ‘personal conduct’.
Several people had also complained about which he dismissed as ‘indirect and just military banter’.
Channel 4 said in a statement: ‘Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
‘Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again.’
Their statement came after Ant announced his exit himself on Instagram, saying he had ‘decided it’s time to move on’.
‘Big respect to my fellow DS – its been a journey I’ll never forget. Thanks to everyone that took part and made the show what it is. Really excited about the future and what’s coming this year. Stay positive,’ he said.

Replying to a tweet from Piers Morgan which said his firing was ‘absurd’, Ant replied: ‘Fired??? All will be revealed. See you soon.’
Since his departure from the UK version, Ant has continued in his role of Chief Instructor on SAS Australia: Who Dares Wins along with Matthew Ollerton.
He has appeared on the series since its inception in 2020 and has remained on the show ever since.
In February, viewers saw Ant tell the latest batch of Australian celebrities.
In that same opening episode, he told the recruits that they would have to strip n**ed.n**ed before changing into dry clothes.
More recently, Ant has voiced his interest in starting a podcast. Writing on Twitter just last week, he said: ‘Seriously thinking about doing a hardcore straight talking Podcast…
‘Not with Celebs but with normal everyday folk whose voices aren’t heard (builders, nurses, office workers, road workers, people who keep the country functioning etc etc… THOUGHTS???’
