The 2023 final is upon us and Viggo Venn has been a real hit with viewers.
From his very first audition, the comedian had the audience and the judges in stitches but the question is – can he go all the way and win that £250,000 prize?
He’ll have some tough competition, as the likes of , , and have also stolen the nation’s hearts.
There can only be one winner though, with , , , and joining us for the series 16 final on Sunday, June 4.
As we inch closer to finding out who our next BGT champion is, here’s a refresher on one of the hot faves…
Who is Viggo Venn?
Viggo Venn hails from Norway and is now living in the UK.
You might have seen him before, as he’s known on the comedy circuit in London.
During his first Britain’s Got Talent audition, Viggo explained that he moved to England because he ‘wanted to become a British comedian’.
His style of comedy is very slapstick and he’s got a big presence on social media with over 300,000 followers on TikTok alone.
He’s forever posting videos of his stand-up performances and comedic dance routines, with some garnering millions of views.
What was his audition?
Viggo’s audition certainly ensured no one would forget him in a hurry.
He began by clapping and jumping around the stage to Daft Punk tune One More Time before removing a series of hi-visibility vests.
At first they were green, but he later revealed both pink and gold vests.
Just as the audience thought he was done – another one came off!
Ending his performance he grabbed a brush and began to sweep away the jackets that he removed.
Simon buzzed the audition, clearly not a fan.
The rest of the panel, however, were big fans, with Bruno commenting: ‘You pushed the stupidity to such a level that it was killing me.’
As for the semi-final, Viggo mimicked each of the judges before, you guessed it, performing a hi-vis jacket routine.
It seems he managed to get Simon on side, who changed his tune by telling him he was ‘the most annoying act of the night, but weirdly, my favourite act of the night’.
And it was the viewers’ favourite too, as Viggo won his semi and sailed through to Sunday’s final.
We wonder what he has up his sleeve (or under his hi-vis) for his grand final routine…
Britain’s Got Talent final airs Sunday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
