’s defamation trial has continued after a brief break, with currently on the stand.
His lawyer, Camille Vasquez, during a tense cross-examination, over her allegations that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor had been abusing her during their relationship.
The case began last month and is being heard at the Fairfax County Courthouse, and also being streamed live on YouTube on various channels.

Ms Vasquez, who works for the firm, is currently undertaking cross-examination of Heard. She went to University of Southern California in 2006 and then Southwestern Law School in 2020.

As well as Ms Vasquez, Depp’s team also consists of Ben Chew, Stephanie Calnan, Andrew Crawford, Rebecca MacDowell Lecaroz, Yarelyn Mena, Jessica Meyers and Samuel Moniz.
Chew has been sitting beside Depp in the court room in the proceedings and has ‘successfully prosecuted two breach of fiduciary cases’ for the Edward Scissorhands star in Los Angeles, according to his bio on the site.
It also reads: ‘Ben is a multifaceted litigator, representing clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitrations in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and throughout the United States and internationally.’
He is said to handle ‘diverse commercial disputes’, as well as defamation and intellectual property.

Before joining the firm in 2012, he was a partner in the Chicago office of international law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Depp is suing Heard for defamation after she penned a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, discussing her experiences of domestic violence – which did not name the Hollywood star.
His team have argued that it implied that he was physically and sexually violent towards her, something he had denied.
He previously took the stand when the case began last month, and insisted that he has never struck a woman.
