After last year’s entry came second with his smash hit Space Man, fans will be wishing 25-year-old Mae similar success with her catchy pop tune I Wrote A Song.
The popstar will appear in the long-running song contest’s, as the British city plays host on behalf of .
But this isn’t Mae’s first taste of fame, as she’s had a few hits in the past – and plenty of success.

Who is Mae Muller?
Mae Muller is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter, born in August 1997 and raised in Kentish Town, London.
She began writing music when she was just eight-years-old, and aged around 10 in 2007, Mae appeared in the music video for the track Grace Kelly by Mika.
Mae later attended Fine Arts College in Belsize Park.
While she pursued her dreams of a music career, Mae worked in a pub, at shop American Apparel on Oxford Street, and as a receptionist, as .
Her first big break came in 2017, when she was signed by her manager after uploading demos to SoundCloud, and in 2018 she landed a record deal with Capitol Records.
She’s had one studio album, called Chapter 1 (2019), and prior released two extended plays, After Hours (2018) and Frankly (2018) – following up with a third called No One Else, Not Even You (2020).
Her biggest hit single to date was Better Day, a 2021 collaboration with Swedish collective Neiked and rapper Polo G.
The song went viral on TikTok, has nearly 400 million Spotify streams – and reached number 23 in the US’ Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
It also secured number .
Her 2022 single I Just Came To Dance was also a hit on streaming services, and her 2022 feature on Marshmello track American Psycho has almost 15 million Spotify streams.
Mae also supported Little Mix on their LM5 Tour in 2019, telling of the experience: ‘I think my performance got a lot better.
‘And it was a crash course in trying to hold and command a room of that size, also a room that’s not there for you in the first place.
‘I think that really, really helped me. Sometimes, when you’ve got to win over the audience, you have to work a bit harder.’
