Will Ospreay is officially All Elite.

The British wrestler, highly regarded as one of the best in the world, has put pen to paper on a multi-year contract with despite reportedly holding some talks with .

In the end, Ospreay has decided against once his New Japan Pro Wrestling deal ends in February 2024, instead signing with Tony Khan’s promotion.

His decision was announced during Saturday night’s Full Gear pay-per-view in Los Angeles, with the decorated champion making an appearance during the show.

Ospreay won’t be immediately starting with the company as he to wrap up his NJPW commitments first, but he’ll be joining in time to be part of AEW Revolution, which is typically held in early March.

He also urged AEW boss Khan to line everyone up for him, with one eye on the company’s return to Wembley Stadium for All In London in August 2024.

In recent weeks, Ospreay had been expected to join AEW, although he had recently made it clear he was considering all options with WWE not being ruled out.

Asked about potentially joining the wrestling giant, he exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ”I mean, we have spoke about it more. I’m now open to the idea of stretching myself out that little bit more.

‘As age has become more apparent to me and my body is hurting more and more, I’m open to all avenues. I’ve had a lot of talks with my friends about this, and I have spoke to the missus.

‘Although we’ve spent so much money on our new kitchen, we are open to the idea of relocating to the United States.’

It puts the Essex-born star in line for a huge moment at Wembley next summer, having beat Chris Jericho at the iconic stadium a few months ago in a memorable career highlight.
