A randy woman’s worst nightmare became a reality when her eight-inch vibrator became lodged inside her bum. Yes, really.
Brittany, 28, ended up in the hospital after things during her alone time suddenly went south, explaining in a new episode of Stuck that her butt was ‘like a vacuum’ and got stuck inside her.
‘I ordered a vibrator, like a bumpy butt-stick,’ Brittany said of the sex toy she had bought herself in an exclusive preview shared with Metro.co.uk.
‘It was like blue, and it had like three balls and a little bitty vibrator on it.’
Upon her new toy’s arrival, she admitted that she couldn’t wait to use it. ‘I was so excited, as soon as I got it in the mail I was like, “oh I’m done, I’m going to take a bath”,’ she continued.
But Brittany’s ecstasy quickly turned into catastrophe. ‘Too much oil, too much excitement, and you just don’t have that many hands yourself, so it just happens,’ she explained.
‘Two hands, three parts, so it had to be let go off. I thought it was going to stay, and it didn’t stay; the vibrator part on it made it like a tunnel.’
With her new toy lodged way up where the sun doesn’t shine, Brittany started to panic once she realised the seriousness of the situation. ‘I panicked for like 20 minutes, and I can feel it vibrating in my back,’ she revealed.
‘I never would have thought my butt was like a vacuum!’
With no other option available, Brittany took herself to the Emergency Room.
For General Surgeon Dr George Crawford, Brittany’s case was one of many he’s dealt with over the course of his career.
‘In the Emergency Room, sometimes we see stuff that you would never really think of,’ he explained.
‘People get shot in the leg, they get a piece of wood stuck in their arm. General surgery is kind of like the one-night stand of medicine.’
After addressing Brittany’s case, Dr Crawford was taken aback. ‘So, it sounds like this young lady lost a foreign body in her rectum. I’m not sure what she was doing, but she has lost her vibrator and it kind of got sucked up.
‘When you think about it, the rectum is designed to keep poop off the floor. If you put something far enough up, it will suck it right up.’
With the vibrator lodged nearly as far up as Brittany’s colon, it’s vital that Dr Crawford removes the sex toy before any further damage is caused.
While examining the object, Dr Crawford said that it’s no surprise that Brittany lost her grip. ‘This thing looks like its silicon and the ring is pretty slippery,’ he said.
‘There’s no bleeding, so I don’t think she caused any injury that’s going to require more operation.’
To extract the object, Dr Crawford grasped it with a thin pair of metal tongs, ready to ease it out of the passage.
Brittany wanted to use her ordeal as a reminder for others to be mindful over what they choose to put inside their bodies.
‘The reason that I share this story and the reason I have said it so many times – people are so interested in it – is because you need to educate yourself on sticking things inside your body,’ she said.
‘Because they will go somewhere, and they will get stuck.’
Despite everything she has been through, Brittany hasn’t been deterred her from enjoying her alone time, but she is aware of the eye-watering financial risks that comes with it.
‘I still have fun but if you don’t have insurance and you’re not prepared for something like this, the financial burden is ridiculous,’ she warned. ‘Because I mean, who has $15,000 (£11,460) laying round to pay it off?’
‘Like, I would never have thought in a million years that an orgasm was going to lead to a surgery. Like, it brings my credit score down. That’s not okay!’
