Bianca Belair insists she knows ‘as much as’ anyone else when it comes to Sasha Banks potential returning to .
The EST of WWE has a lot of history with the Legit Boss – who hasn’t been since May when over creative differences – after they became the together in April 2021.
Quizzed about the possibility of seeing Banks make a comeback, she exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I don’t know what’s happening – I know about as much as you guys!’
When asked if it was something she’d like to see one day, the Raw Women’s Champion laughed and added: ‘We’ll just have to see what happens!’
Since beating Sasha for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 37, it’s been a rollercoaster for Bianca, who went onto against surprise opponent Becky Lynch.
The title change was panned by fans at the time, but she kept working hard and won the gold from Lynch at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year, before her redemption story came full circle with a win over her rival at SummerSlam in July.
Reflecting on the past year or so, she said: ‘So much has changed! It’s been a wild year. I was at the tip of the mountain top, then almost to the bottom in the valley and working my way up.
‘In the process, looking back it just shows you that bad things are gonna happen but you’ll get up and do amazing things. There’s been so much growth that’s happened since then, and everything make sense now.
‘It’s really cool to be standing here with the Raw Women’s Championship on my shoulder.’
Meanwhile, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque – WWE’s head of talent relations and creative – has suggested there could be a chance of seeing Sasha Banks back in the WWE after a ‘breakdown in communication’ when Vince McMahon was at the helm.
‘She’s an unbelievably talented young woman that can do just about anything she wants. It just comes down to what does she want to do now with her life, her career, whatever that is,’ he told BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani.
‘The passion clearly for what we do, there’s a passion for other things as well. It comes down to what does she want to do? It’s gotta be right for her, gotta be right for everybody.’
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
