WWE star Liv Morgan suffers injury as championship match gets pulled from Raw

Liv Morgan was pulled from Raw this week week after suffering an injury on SmackDown.

During Friday night’s show, Liv and her tag partner Raquel Rodriguez successfully against Damage CTRL duo Dakota Kai and Bayley.

However, the star didn’t emerge unscathed as it has since emerged she got hurt during the bout.

WWE confirmed the injury during , where Liv and Raquel were again meant to defend their titles.

Instead of the duo facing Green and Sonya Deville as planned, Raquel faced the former in singles action while Liv wasn’t featured on the show.

At the end of the bout, the champion – who beat Chelsea – was the victim of a sneak attack from the returning Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.

The severity of the injury – and how much time she will miss – is still unknown, but it appears the champions have their next challengers set.

After the injury was announced on air, Liv shared a photo of herself giving Raquel a piggyback while she held up both title belts with both stars beaming.

Fans have been quick to send messages of support after the tweet, with many wishing Liv a ‘speedy recovery’ from the unfortunate setback.

‘Wishing you a speedy recovery champ and hope you come back stronger than ever,’ wrote one fan.

‘Get well liv praying for a speedy recovery,’ said a second viewer, while a third tweeted: ‘We miss you already!! Get well soon!!’

And yet another wrote: ‘Get well soon Champ! Hope it’s nothing major!’

Liv and Raquel won the titles by, who was standing in for Lita after it later emerged she had laid her own backstage.

After the loss, the Hall of Famer turned on Lynch and attacked her too, sparking a rivalry between the two superstars which is set to culminate in a match at Night of Champions on May 27.
