Shayna Baszler may have got the win overbut she didn’t leave SummerSlam unscathed.
The Queen of Spades took on her real life friend in an Rules match on Saturday night at Ford Field in Detroit and emerged victorious after choking out the legend.
In front of a packed crowd, the two combat sport stars , using their mixed martial arts background to try and take each other out.
In the end, it was Shayna who got the win via technical submission after locking in the Kirifuda Clutch.
There are plenty of rumours about Ronda’s future after the loss, but Shayna herself has revealed she is in some pain following the physical bout.
Taking to Twitter after the show, she shared a photo of herself celebrating the win, as well as two pictures sporting a swollen eye and black arm cast, although she didn’t elaborate on the extent of any injuries.
She wrote: ‘The cost. Worth it. Fighting solves everything. #LimbByLimb #SummerSlam’
One fan hailed her a ‘warrior’ in response, with another describing her as a ‘beast’ while a third added: ‘Much love and respect for you ❤️’
Earlier in the show, when his pants split, but it could’ve been worse for the Beast as Shayna recently recalled the embarrassing moment she.
She exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I won, and so I jumped to the top of the cage and was balancing on my stomach with my arms in the air. I jumped down, and my sports bra got caught and so I flashed everyone on that side of the crowd.
‘That’s probably my most embarrassing moment ever in a ring!’
