Shotzi showed off another brand new hair style on SmackDown this week and fans are loving it.
The 31-year-old fan favourite over the amid her increasingly personal rivalry with Damage CTRL, and she is clearly embracing the chance to experiment.
There’s a poignant real life reason for the drastic change too as Shotzi is showing solidarity with her sister, who has been battling cancer for months and is facing a hepatectomy, while going through chemotherapy.
On screen, the daredevil shaved off her hair after Bayley cut a chunk out of it – which she was carrying round in Iyo Sky’s Money In The Bank briefcase before her teammate cashed in to become WWE Women’s Champion.
After weeks of torment, Shotzi finally got her hands on the Role Model in a singles match on, and she came out rocking a new spiked hairstyle.
It’s quite the departure for the star, but it’s one fans are absolutely behind as they took to social media to voice their excitement over the fresh look.
‘Shotzi’s spiky hair looks so cool ? #SmackDown,’ wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter), while another added: ‘omg shotzi’s hair SHE ATEEEE (sic).’
‘Ohh I love how Shotzi styled her hair,’ wrote a third person, as someone else said: ‘Omg I love Shotzi’s hair yesssss (sic)’
And yet another fan enthused: ‘Shotzi has spiked hair for this match! That looks cool af! It looks good on her ?? #SmackDown’
It was a great night for Shotzi, as she overcame interference from Iyo and Dakota Kai thanks to a helping hand from Charlotte Flair, which distracted Bayley enough to secure the win.
Next week, Shotzi is set to team up with the Queen as they battle Bayley and Iyo with the rivalry rumbling on.
