superstar AJ Styles is back on SmackDown and he looks more ripped than ever.

The 46-year-old wrestler, who hasn’t been seen on the blue brand, returned on Friday night and fans couldn’t stop talking about his epic body transformation.

He appeared at the end of the show, coming down to the ring to save Randy Orton and LA Knight from a beatdown at the hands of The Bloodline members Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.

The former world champ evened the odds and took out the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion with a Phenomenal Forearm, sending the group running.

He quickly shocked fans, grabbing fan favourite Knight and laying him out with a strong clothesline, leaving the ring to a chorus of boos.

While fans were disappointed by his actions, people couldn’t get over his appearance on the show, and he has seriously bulked up during his time away from WWE TV.

‘AJ is absolutely jacked!!! We are not ready🔥,’ wrote viewer @Sekyanzi_shaun on X (formerly Twitter), as fan @ShaunTabil asked: ‘Is it just me or does AJ look ripped!!’

It’s safe to say it’s not just him, with plenty of fans in awe of the Phenomenal One’s new figure.

‘AJ Styles looking real jacked, baby,’ added fan @bigbeardoinstuf, while @NecroBlancoArt joked: ‘AJ apparently stands for Absolutely Jacked!’

And fan page @Wweforlife67 tweeted: ‘Wait did aj styles come back bigger because he wasn’t that big #wwesmackdown’

Styles hasn’t been seen on screen since getting attacked by The Bloodline in September, as he wasand ruled out with an ankle injury.

Earlier in the year, he admitted it will be ‘easy’ for him to retire when the time comes, particularly after getting a taste of during a previous injury layoff.

He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think that we bust our tail in this ring so that we can enjoy spending time that we have lost for so many years. That’s what retirement’s all about!

‘Once it’s over, I think it’s gonna be easy for me to go, “Okay! I did what I was supposed to do! I fought as hard as I could for as long as I could to the point where I hopefully didn’t embarrass myself”.

‘At the same time, the fruits of your labour are where you’re gonna enjoy that now, that’s what it’s all about. No more missing birthdays, high school, elementary  stuff. I’m gonna be there as a father to see that. I’ve missed enough.’

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on TNT Sports 1.
