put in at a show on Friday in Paris – only to have his foot run over for his efforts.
Yes, that’s right – a very unlucky turn of events for .
The 31-year-old singer rocked up to the Kenzo enswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show as part of Paris Fashion Week, where he sat in the front row alongside Pharrell Williams, and the former CEO of Christian Dior, Sidney Toledano.
He in a blue geometric patterned suit with a crisp white shirt underneath, left open at the throat to show off his extensive tattoo collection, and matching box-fresh trainers.
(More on those later…)
Zayn, who has often had fun with changing up his hairstyle over the years with everything from blue dye to frosted tips, wore his dark hair short at the sides and in a blonde-streaked quiff.
Saturday’s appearance was a first for the musician at a public event in nearly five years, when he walked the red carpet at the LA premiere for Disney’s remake of Aladdin in May 2019.
However, with Zayn keeping an increasingly low profile in recent years, his resurfacing caused something of a chaotic crowd outside the venue.
A video posted to a fan account @ZaynReportsBU on X showed the star trying to exit the venue in the French capital to get to his car.
As he walked along the pavement, being helped through an excited mob of fans, he moved close to the road – only to have a passing car run over his foot.
Due to the business of the street only his team and Zayn seemed to realise what had happened, with the singer pulling a face and exclaiming as the car drove off.
Luckily, he reassured his fans and followers that he was fine afterwards.
Taking to Instagram, he shared a side profile photo of himself and a picture of the runway from inside the event, which the fashion-fan singer disclosed was part of a paid partnership.
‘@kenzo @nigo Thanks for a great show! My foot is fine !!T hanks to my incredibly well-made shoes 😂👍🏼,’ he wrote in the caption.
Zayn also posted a photo of his once-white trainer with some impressive black tyre marks running across its side and front, where he’d been run over.
‘OMG Is your foot okay? Who do I have to fight with?’ commented fan Talita, while @niazsmind added: ‘thank god i was worried about your toes man 😭 [sic]’
‘Already the best moment of 2024,’ suggested MTV’s official social account, while fan account @zquad replied: ‘Glad to hear your foot is fine!! Great to see you! Missed u.’
