Adrien Rabiot ‘tempted’ by Manchester United offer with Juventus pushing hard to keep midfielder in Italy

Adrien Rabiot is considering ’s offer and is tempted to join the side this summer.

United approached the international last summer but a move eventually broke down due to

when he current contract with expires at the end of June.

Juventus are still hoping Rabiot will sign a new contract in Turin with reporting his club teammates and manager Massimiliano Allegri are pushing hard for him to extend his stay.

Keeping Rabiot at the club is one of the Juventus’ top priorities this summer, the report adds, but the 28-year-old is mulling over United’s offer and has shown interest in a move to Manchester.  

The former Paris Saint-Germain star has been linked with a move to England throughout his career having also had a spell in Manchester City’s academy in 2008.

In December, he admitted he still hopes to experience the Premier League.

‘I have always said that I’d like to play in England in my career,’ he said. ‘I still have that desire. I’d like to evolve in the Premier League.

‘I haven’t got a Premier League team in mind right now. I haven’t chosen a team or anything. It’s a general thing.

‘It’s the league, it’s the level of play that’s going on, that’s what attracts me most. It corresponds to my qualities.’

With Scott McTominay, Fred and Donny van de Beek among those up for sale at Old Trafford this summer Erik ten Hag is looking to reshape his midfield options.

The club have also seen three bids for Mason Mount rejected and are prepared to walk away from the deal if Chelsea do not reconsider their latest offer of £50m plus £5m in add-ons, which was rejected by the Blues on Friday.

Moises Caicedo is another option being considered, with United officials holding talks with the midfielder’s representatives.
