Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has an offer on the table from Besiktas as he searches for a new club following his departure from Liverpool.
The 29-year-old ended a six-year stay at Anfield this summer, leaving the club as his contract expired.
Injuries hampered him over his time with the Reds, as did competition for places in the midfield, and he made just 146 appearances in those six campaigns, scoring 18 goals.
There has not been a great rush for his signature since he became a free agent, but the report that Besiktas have made an offer to the international.
The Turkish club will give him a two-year deal with the option of a third, and while he is yet to accept the proposal, the former Arsenal man is considering it.
There is also reportedly interest in him from the Saudi Pro League, as the huge investment in football continues in the country.
Oxlade-Chamberlain won the Premier League and Champions League with Liverpool and wants to continue to lift trophies before the end of his career if possible.
‘I still want success, I’ve had a taste of it here, they’ve been the best years ever,’ Oxlade-Chamberlain told . ‘So, if by any chance, I can have another sniff of achieving anything like that again then I’d bite your hand off.
‘I think I need to go and play somewhere as consistently as possible. They say you’re coming into your peak at 29, so I want to go and test myself, play consistently somewhere.’
