says it was ‘dream’ come true to play for following the completion of his move to Al-Nassr.
The Brazilian joined the Saudi Arabian club on Sunday, with United receiving a fee of around £5m for the left-back.
Telles joined United in a £13m deal from Porto in 2020, when sought competition for Luke Shaw.
In truth, Telles never managed to push the ace to the point where he was first choice and he spent last season on loan at Sevilla.
The Spaniards declined the chance to sign Telles on a permanent basis and United had been desperate to get him off the books, given the club’s need for a clearout.
But there was no hard feelings from Telles’ side about his departure, with the defender thanking the club for providing him with a ‘dream’.
‘Effort, hard work, dedication, talent, dedication, faith! I don’t know any different recipe in life to achieve and carry out our projects,’ wrote Telles on Instagram.
‘When I arrived at United, I realized my dream of playing in one of the biggest clubs in the world. A giant with some amazing fans. A city where I made friends and was very happy.
‘Today I close this incredible chapter in my journey, but rest assured that, as I always did in my career, I honored every moment of training and second game with the United shirt. Thank you, Manchester, thank you United.’
