The side are arriving in the Scottish capital fresh from a victory against Leeds Utd last week, having won 2-0 over their recently relegated opponents thanks to goals from Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill – in a game which saw Mason Mount make his Man Utd debut.

Opponents Lyon, meanwhile, come to the game from a seventh-place finish in Ligue 1 last season.

The game is one of a string of friendlies Man Utd will be playing before the season gets underway – with the side set to fly to the to face Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Dortmund.

Manchester United vs Lyon will kick-off today (Wednesday, July 19), at 2pm BST.

For Manchester United fans, the fixture will be shown live on MUTV on the club channel, the United App and ManUtd.com.

The full match replay will be available to watch afterwards via MUTV on-demand.
