slammed and blasted ’s ‘criminal’ tactics during ’s FA Cup clash against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Red Devils but Liverpool scored twice just before half-time to turn it around and lead 2-1.
United legend Keane was left furious with his former club in his half-time analysis on ITV, slamming Ten Hag’s ‘game management’ and calling out Rashford.
‘It’s the biggest worry for Manchester United this season, they’re so open, particularly in midfield,’ Keane said.
‘They need someone to sit [as a defensive midfielder]. It’s called game management.
‘Liverpool kept getting stronger, United have to get someone to sit in there and protect the back four. It’s game management.’
Quizzed about Alexis Mac Allister’s goal on 44 minutes to level up the match, Keane added: ‘You’ve got players back here but the intesity from the attacking players… Rashford, my god!
‘We’re talking about an FA Cup quarter-final! Get to people. Attack them. It’s far too easy for Liverpool.
‘Way too simple. Just get out to him. There’s not enough aggression. We got numbers back, but there’s no point if there’s no aggression. You’ve got to be aggressive in this game.’
Asked about Mohamed Salah’s goal deep into first-half injury time, Keane said: ‘This is in injury time. We could have gone in at 1-1. It’s called game management.
‘If you give space and time to these Liverpool players you will be punished. For United to try and play out from the back in injury time is criminal.’
