Antonio Nusa has spoken out over his failed deadline day move to after the Blues had a £23m bid rejected for the Club Brugge winger.
The Blues were unable to make a second offer as they were hoping to secure exits for Ian Maatsen or but both players remained in west .
It may come back to bite Chelsea, who are continuing to monitor Nusa, .
Nusa, 18, moved to Club Brugge in 2021 and has made a total of 46 appearances to date for the Belgian side.
The Norwegian has now spoken openly about his failed move to Chelsea and said: ‘I already knew that it wasn’t going to happen now.
‘But then the money came on the table. Then it is seen in a slightly different way.
‘We had to have another conversation when the money arrived, but we were on the same page, so there was no problem there.’
