Antonio Rudiger leaning towards Juventus after offers from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich

are winning the race to sign Antonio Rudiger from after the Serie A giants impressed the defender with their vision for him in Turin.

The Germany defender is out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season and he’s rejected two proposals from Chelsea to extend his stay at the club.

The Blues had been desperate to keep him but they were unwilling to give him parity with top earners N’Golo Kante and .

That was before the UK government imposed sanctions on owner Roman Abramovich, which means the club can no longer offer contracts to players while they’re still under the Russian’s name.

Real Madrid had been leading the race to sign Rudiger and they were willing to give him a significant signing-on fee, as they would not need to pay a fee for the defender.

Similarly, Bayern Munich were prepared to offer Rudiger a return to his homeland but he had favoured a move to Spain instead.

But the Sun say Juventus have now leapfrogged both clubs with their offer to Rudiger, as the defender is impressed by the vision laid out to him by the club.

The Old Lady want to replace legendary defender Giorgio Chiellini, who is likely to retire in 2023.

They have offered Rudiger the chance to play alongside the Italian during his final campaign, before becoming the leader at the back when Chiellini retires.

Juventus have offered Rudiger a salary close to what he desires, with the German set to earn around £5.5m in Turin.
