Arsenal are among the teams in the race to sign midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, according to reports in Germany.
The 27-year-old’s contract with Dortmund expires at the end of the season and the Bundesliga club have already confirmed they are not renewing his deal.
According to , Dahoud is not short of offers as several clubs have already made enquiries ahead of the summer window.
The report claims that Arsenal are among the teams interested alongside , , Napoli and Roma.
Dahoud, who has been capped twice by Germany, is currently in his sixth season at Dortmund but is struggling to secure a regular role in the team.
So far this season, the midfielder has started just three games in the Bundesliga and has not featured in any of Dortmund’s Champions League games so far.
“I had a very open and honest conversation with Mo last week. I informed him that we would not be extending his contract in the summer,’ Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl said last month.
‘Mo has been with us for six years now, he is a very good footballer and I really have a very high opinion of him in terms of sport and personality. Nevertheless, we decided to take this step.’
