But the player is not interested in a return to the Premier League and plans to stay and fight for his place at Barcelona.
‘The names on Barca transfer list are placed by the journalists,’ Torres said about rumours of an exit after their to the Gunners in the USA.
‘I have a contract here, I’m going to stay. I don’t care what is said about me. I’m going to work like anyone else.
‘I am the first self-critic, it was not a good season last year but I learned a lot. These ups and downs have helped me to be stronger now.’

He was part of the Barcelona team that lifted the La Liga title last season but only started 18 of his 45 appearances across the entire 2022-23 campaign.
