president Herbert Hainer insists the club will not follow ’s example of sacking following Manuel Neuer’s bombshell criticism of the club.

The German goalkeeper gave a series of interviews in which he criticised the club after they sacked goalkeeping coach Toni Tapalovic.

The 36-year-old is captain of the Bundesliga giants and he was already in hot water after suffering a broken leg on a mid-season skiing trip, which is set to keep him out for the remainder of the season.

With Neuer already on thin ice, he angered the club further by criticising their treatment of Tapalovic.

The Germans already had to swoop for Jan Sommer in January to replace the now-injured Neuer.

But the club insist they won’t follow United’s lead by sacking Neuer, like the Red Devils did with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Asked if Bayern would terminate Neuer’s deal, Hainer said: ‘No, not at all.

‘That’s why we are FC Bayern Munich. At FC Bayern Munich we will always clarify such things internally.

‘Such things make FC Bayern strong and special.’
