Leandro Trossard has again refused to rule out the possibility of leaving Brighton to reunite with at .
The versatile attacking player was one of, if not the star player at Brighton during Potter’s tenure at the Amex.
He has continued his great form this season, recording seven goal contributions in nine games so far this season, including a hattrick against Liverpool at Anfield.
As such, Trossard has been linked with a move to a bigger club for some time now, and with Potter now in the dugout at Stamford Bridge many have speculated that that could be his next destination.
reports that Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 27-year-old, who just a few weeks ago .
Trossard is out of contract at the end of the season, so a January move could also be on the cards if new terms with the Seagulls cannot be agreed, but the Belgian international insists he is not thinking about transfers right now.
Asked about Chelsea’s interest in him, Trossard told Play Sports, via : ‘It’s very difficult to answer that.
‘That will have to wait. I’m not on it at all right now. Brighton and the World Cup are the next goals. Afterwards we’ll see where it ends.’
Capped 21 times by his country, Trossard is expected to head to the World Cup in Qatar in a month’s time where he’ll likely be teammates with a number of ex-Chelsea stars including Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, who could persuade the player to join or avoid the Blues.
