have confirmed the signing of Lesley Ugochukwu on a seven-year contract with the option to extend the deal by a further year.
The 19-year-old French midfielder joins the Blues from Ligue 1 club Rennes in a deal worth £23m and he becomes ’s fourth summer signing.
Ugochukwu came through Rennes’ academy and had spent his entire senior career with the French side, making 60 appearances for them.
He is a France U19 international and has joined up with his new team-mates on their pre-season tour of the United States.
