Chelsea make Callum Hudson-Odoi transfer decision as five Premier League clubs eye moves

is set for crunch talks with to discuss his future next week but the club have already decided to sell amid interest from five rivals.

Once rated as one of the brightest talents in English football, Hudson-Odoi has endured a spectacular fall from grace and now looks set to leave his boyhood club.

He joined Chelsea’s academy at the age of seven and went on to make 126 first-team appearances after making his debut in 2018.

For a period Hudson-Odoi was seen as a key member of the Chelsea squad and attracted substantial interest from , who had .

Chelsea then handed the three-cap England forward a lucrative five-year contract, though they are now ready to sell for as little as £10m, according to the .

Hudson-Odoi would have hoped to have revived his career during his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen last season but he flattered to deceive, scoring just once in 21 appearances for the German side.

Despite his struggles, Hudson-Odoi does have some admirers both in the Premier League and abroad and is one of a number of Chelsea players who have been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

and Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly all look set to join the French World Cup winner.

At this stage a move to Saudi looks unlikely for Hudson-Odoi, who has attracted the attention of Premier League sides Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Brentford.

While Hudson-Odoi would have hoped to become an important player for Chelsea, he has slipped behind the likes of Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and .

Chelsea finished just 12th in the Premier League last season but will hope for a better campaign under incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino.
