There is set to be a Premier League fight for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare this summer, with , and all credited with an interest in his signature.

The 24-year-old has a growing reputation, moving from Toulouse to PSV in 2020 and anchoring the Dutch side’s midfield.

He has also picked up 21 caps for Ivory Coast, scoring four goals for his country, including one against Algeria in the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Sangare has certainly done enough to attract a lot of interest from the Premier League and a trio of clubs are considering triggering his release clause, which the reports stands at ‘around £34m’.

Interested parties are likely to have to reach his release clause to sign the 6’3″ midfielder, with plenty of competition for him and with initial reports of £20m said to have no chance of success.

The Ivorian has admitted that the Premier League is a dream destination for him, so he appears likely to be open to a move.

On his future, Sangare told De Telegraaf: ‘I am a PSV player, and I am concentrating on the games we have left this season. I don’t have my head in other things.

‘After that, I’ll go on holiday, and I’ll have time to talk about possible next projects. But until then I don’t want to worry about that.

‘Playing in the Premier League is not only a dream of mine but a dream of every footballer. That is the biggest and most important league in the world.’
