Former striker Darren Bent says he would rather have Kai Havertz in the current Arsenal side than forward .
Havertz struggled to make an immediate impact with Mikel Arteta’s side .

Rashford, meanwhile, has scored just one goal in his last 13 appearances for United and has faced calls to be dropped from Erik ten Hag’s side.
Asked if he would prefer to have Havertz over Rashford in the current side, Bent told talkSPORT: ‘Right now, for what Arteta wants to do, yes. Currently where we are now, give me Havertz.
‘I don’t want Rashford at the minute. I don’t know what I’m getting from Rashford.
‘Rashford has got two [goals]. For starters, he’s [Havertz] not appalling. This is not the lifetime achievement award.
‘Last season, after the , Rashford was unbelievable. I’ve not seen that Rashford since.
‘Right now, give me over Rashford.’
Meanwhile, Arteta has suggested that Havertz did not feel ‘loved’ and ‘respected’ during his final season at Chelsea.
‘He’s been so influential, his confidence has grown,’ Arteta said.
‘When you’re loved and admired and respected your energy and body language is so much better. That is how he is feeling now.’
