Bournemouth and Fulham are in the race to sign goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to reports.
Henderson has hardly featured for the Red Devils this season, making just three appearances in all competitions.
United are looking to secure the 25-year-old’s move away from the club and are prepared at least half of his £120,000-a-week salary.
According to , Bournemouth are leading the race to sign Henderson on a loan deal but will face competition from Fulham.
Both clubs have been promoted to the Premier League next season and are looking to add experience to their squads.
Henderson played a full season in the Premier League for Sheffield United in 2019-20 during a successful loan spell.
But after being brought back to Old Trafford to challenge David De Gea, he has failed to usurp the Spaniard, despite enjoying a brief period as the club’s No.1 last season.
After making 26 appearances last term, Henderson has since fallen out of favour at United with Erik ten Hag reportedly looking to sign a new No.2 and No.3 for the Manchester club.
Henderson’s lack of game time has resulted in him losing his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad and, with the World Cup on the horizon, the United academy graduate is looking to relaunch his career.
Regarding replacements for Henderson, United are reportedly looking at re-signing Sam Johnstone from West Brom.
The 29-year-old is a free agent in the summer and spent seven years with the Red Devils until leaving in 2018.
However, they will need to fend off Tottenham Hotspur who are also interested in Johnstone as a back-up to Hugo Lloris.
