prospect Dylan Levitt is likely to be on the move again this summer, with Dundee United interested in a permanent move, while Cardiff City want him on loan.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Dundee United and impressed with the Scottish Premiership club, scoring six goals in 29 appearances across all competitions.
He has also spent brief loan spells away from Old Trafford with Charlton Athletic and Croatian side Istra 1961.
Levitt has already won 12 caps for Wales but is unlikely to be making an impact on the Manchester United first team this season and they are willing to let him go this summer.
report that United would be willing to accept just £300,000, plus add-ons for the youngster, with Dundee United keen on bringing him in permanently, while Championship side Cardiff are interested in a loan move.
Dundee United manager Jack Ross is confident that the club can attract Levitt back to Scotland, with the guarantee of first team football ahead of this winter’s World Cup.
‘One of the things we believe is a big carrot is he was a first-team regular here last season and he would be again,’ said Ross.
‘That gives you the best possible chance of being involved in a World Cup squad. No player wants to find themselves not playing regularly in the build up to a World Cup.
‘So we’ve provided a fairly solid pitch that we believe gives him the best possible chance of doing that and hopefully he buys into it.’
