Reflecting on United’s reverse fixture against Bayern, which Thomas Tuchel’s side won 4-3 on September 20, Ten Hag added: ‘There were stages in that game when we played very good.
‘It was head-to-head for a long time. We suffered some mistakes that were avoidable. When you play against Bayern you have to be at your best. Chelsea also had amazing players, we dominated them, so I think we can do it against Bayern as well.’
