Erik ten Hag has played down suggestions he will seek to sign a number of players for this summer.
Ten Hag will arrive at Old Trafford at the end of the season and will oversee what is expected to be a major overhaul of the squad that has struggled so badly this season.
Sebastien Haller, Antony and Jurrien Timber are among the current Ajax stars who have been tipped to follow the 52-year-old to Manchester.
But Ten Hag insists there are no plans in place to raid his former club.
‘No, there are no agreements about that,’ ten Hag told reporters on Friday.
‘I now have very good players, but it’s not an issue at all.’
One of the biggest decisions awaiting ten Hag concerns the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.
United’s top scorer this season has one year left on his contract but it remains to be seen whether he will remain at Old Trafford with the club set to miss out on Champions League qualification.
Reports on Friday claimed ten Hag wants Ronaldo to remain at the club and plans to make him a key part of his new-look team next season.
But with ten Hag’s immediate focus still on Ajax’s title bid with three games of the Eredivisie season remaining, the Dutchman has refused to discuss the future of any United players – including Ronaldo.
‘Those are questions for the future,’ ten Hag said.
‘We are in an important title race and an important week. I now want to focus my attention on that and not on Manchester United.’
