When does the Europa League draw start?
The Europa League 2022-23 group stage draw will start on Friday, August 26, at 12pm UK time.
The draw will take place in the Turkish capital Istanbul, which will also host the draws for the and the Europa Conference League.
The first games will be on Thursday, September 8.
How to watch the draw on TV in the UK
The draw will be available for UK viewers to watch live on BT Sport 1, with coverage getting underway from midday.

How does the draw work?
A total of 11 clubs qualified for the Europa League automatically based on their league positions last season.
These teams will be joined by ten Europa League play-off winners and ten sides who failed to make it through Champions League qualifying.
The 32 teams will be placed into four pots based on UEFA’s club coefficient, which measures how clubs have performed in UEFA competition across the previous five years.
One team from each pot will be placed in each of the eight groups.
Which teams are in the Europa League draw?
The full lineup for the 2022/23 Europa League will not be known until the Champions League and Europa League playoffs have been completed.
However, 16 teams have already secured their place in this season’s competition.

When is the Europa League final?
The final will take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 31.
Named after legendary and Hungary striker Ferenc Puskas, the stadium was opened in 2019 and has a capacity of 67,000.
