are planning to sell either or Richarlison in the summer in an effort to get their dire finances into order.

Currently sitting 17th in the Premier League – just three points above the relegation zone – the Toffees have endured a poor season and appear to be in crisis under .

To make matters worse, this week the Merseyside club posted losses of over £121m for last season. This is in addition to similar sized losses made in the two previous seasons.

Now, according to , the bosses at Goodison Park have decided they need to recoup some revenue by selling one of their key assets when the window opens, with Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison in the frame to leave.

Calvert-Lewin has been linked heavily with in recent months as Mikel Arteta tries to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who joined Barcelona in January, while Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest in signing Richarlison.

Speaking to , Calvert-Lewin’s agent recently denied that a deal was already in the pipeline for his client to move to the Emirates.

‘Dominic has not agreed any deal, with any club.’ he said. ‘He is currently working very hard in training and is fully focused on finishing the season strong with Everton.’

Calvert-Lewin has spent much of this season on the sidelines with injury problems, scoring only three goals in 11 appearances.

Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith believes the Gunners should divert their attention away from the Everton striker as he doesn’t fit within the team’s style of play.

‘I wouldn’t say Calvert-Lewin is an ideal fit for Arsenal. In many ways, he’s an old-fashioned centre-forward and he loves balls being swung into the box,’ Smith told Sky Sports.

‘That’s not particularly Arsenal’s game. It can be when they get the full-backs forward and you can imagine Kieran Tierney whipping in crosses from the left towards him. But he’s not immediately what I would think of as an Arsenal centre-forward at the moment.’
