Folarin Balogun has posted a cryptic message amid uncertainty over his Arsenal future.
The 21-year-old enhanced his burgeoning reputation while on loan at Reims last season, scoring 21 Ligue 1 goals from 37 appearances.
Recently capped at senior level by , Balogun will return to his parent club this summer, desperate to resolve his long-term future.
According to reports, the Hale End Academy graduate wants regular first team football, but Mikel Arteta is unlikely to bow to that demand.
Gabriel Jesus will start the season as the Gunners’ No.1 striker, while Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz offer high-quality back-up.
.
And ahead of his return to pre-season training, Balogun suggested he was set to make a definitive decision on his future by tweeting an hour glass emoji with the message ‘it’s time’.
The likes of Crystal Palace, RB Leipzig, Inter and AC Milan are all interested in a potential deal.
Balogun, meanwhile, is adamant that he will not accept another loan move for the upcoming season.
When asked about his future earlier this month, Balogun said: ‘What I can say is that I definitely won’t go on loan again.
‘I’m not sure on the discussions that are going to take place, I’m not sure what’s going to happen.
‘But I’m just committed to now, I try to stay present.’
