Fulham boss has lauded Gabriel Jesus, William Saliba and ahead of his side’s trip to the Emirates on Saturday.
Silva’s side have enjoyed an impressive start to the season following promotion from the Championship last term and are unbeaten in their opening three top-flight games with draws against Liverpool and Wolves and a win over Brentford.
But they face a tough challenge in north on Saturday afternoon, facing league leaders Arsenal who have won their first three Premier League games.
Two players who have impressed for the Gunners thus far include new striker Jesus and centre-back Saliba, with the former registering two goals and three assists in his first three games after joining from this summer.
Saliba, meanwhile, has been hailed by team-mates and pundits, with Oleksandr Zinchenko labelling the Frenchman ‘unbelievable’ .
Speaking ahead of Fulham’s trip to Arsenal, Silva said: ‘Some players have come in and they’ve added something different for them.
‘Gabriel Jesus is a good example, the central defender [William Saliba] is a good example as well, and they’ve added something important for them.
‘They have a lot of individual quality, they are in a good moment, it will be tough for us, but we are in a good moment as well.
‘Of course you want to go there to match them, to challenge them, to embrace the challenge that will definitely be a tough challenge for us, but we want to play the game and to match them.’
Quizzed more generally about Arsenal, Silva added: ‘They are confident, they are playing well, they are creating great dynamics inside the pitch as well, and of course they will be a tough team to play against.
‘They are playing good football, they are confident, you can see from the first minute of the first game the way they’ve started.’
