Reports in Germany had claimed that Kane’s camp had received a new proposal from an unnamed club ‘at short notice’ which was a better contract offer than Bayern’s, although it required him to leave Tottenham on a free transfer next summer.
However, reported late on Thursday evening that Kane has now given the green light to Bayern and is ready to sign a four-year contract with the German club.
German newspaper report that Bayern’s offer is made up of €100m (£86.6m) up front, plus an additional €20m (£17.3m) in bonus payments.
