and were among the four stars who trained away from the first-team ahead of Saturday’s friendly clash with Brazil.

The Three Lions take on the five-time world champions at this weekend, preparing for that fixture at St George’s Park this week.

Kane, Saka, Cole Palmer and Jordan Henderson were not spotted with the rest of the group on Wednesday with Sky Sports reporting the four are undergoing ‘personalised training programmes inside the gym’.

England were left sweating on

The former Tottenham star was seen clutching his left ankle after colliding with the post, forced off with eight minutes of the match remaining.

It raised questions over his availability for England’s doubler header against Brazil and Belgium, but also Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarter-final showdown with Arsenal next month.

Kane did not train with his teammates along with Palmer, Saka and Henderson although there is not thought to be any specific injury concerns over that trio.

Saka played the full 120 minutes in Arsenal’s last game before the international break – the Champions League last 16 tie against Porto which went all the way to penalties.

Palmer also completed his last game for his club without any issues, scoring and providing an assist in Chelsea’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over Leicester City.

There was a new face at St George’s Park with Kobbie Mainoo called into the senior England squad on Tuesday.

The Manchester United starlet was initially left out of the squad last week with Gareth Southgate citing a lack of first-team appearances as the reason for his omission.

But after a sensational display in the win over Liverpool on Sunday, Mainoo was called up two days later.

‘I got called up to the U21s, then I got a text from Steve Holland. He told me to come and meet him at reception,’ Mainoo explained.

‘He told me that I had been called up to the main squad. I don’t think it has really sunk in yet. I have [text back home] – they are all buzzing and excited’.
