It was a memorable and feisty London derby at Stamford Bridge as Spurs twice came from behind to snatch a point, with Kane heading in the second equaliser deep into injury time to make it 2-2.

The two managers had already clashed after Tottenham’s first goal, with Conte celebrating and Tuchel arguing with the fourth official, bringing them head to head and both were shown a yellow card.

They came together again after the final whistle as they shook hands and it was not clear which manager refused to relinquish the shake, so they turned to face each other and squared off aggressively, with angry words shared.

Coaching staff and players rushed in to separate the managers but the referee was not impressed and flashed the red card at both men.

Kane said he didn’t get a clear view of what happened between the bosses, but admits it is disappointing to see his manager shown a red card.

‘Obviously I’ve seen everyone gathering a the end, obviously disappointed to see the red card but I didn’t see what happened,’ Kane told Sky Sports.

‘Obviously an emotional game, derby, passion from both sides, both teams wanted to win

‘Disappointed but that’s just what happens sometimes in these games.’

Pierre-Emile Hojberg equalised in the second half, sparking the first touchline clash, but Reece James was quick to put Chelsea back in front.

It looked like the Blues were going to hold on, but Kane got his head on a late Ivan Perisic corner to pinch a point for Conte’s side.
