says Tottenham have done their job with victory over Burnley, piling the pressure on ahead of their trip to on Monday.

Kane’s first-half penalty was enough to seal three vital points and lift Spurs into fourth place, two points clear of Arsenal. The Gunners can leapfrog their north rivals again and head into the final day of the season next week in control of their own destiny if they pick up a win at St James’ Park.

While Newcastle have lost their last two games to Manchester City and Liverpool they have enjoyed a superb second-half of the season under Eddie Howe with their relegation concerns a distant memory.

Hoping for an Arsenal slip-up, Kane has warned Mikel Arteta’s side are coming up against ‘great’ opposition in the Magpies.

Asked if he and his teammates will be Newcastle fans on Monday, Kane told BT Sport: ‘Of course! It will be a good game to watch for sure. Obviously, Newcastle have been doing great in the second half of the season.

‘We’ve done our job today and the last couple of games. We’ve got to recover and see what happens, but there’s still next week as well. It’s all to play for.’

Kane’s penalty came after Ashley Barnes was judged to have handled in the box after a VAR decision. While the decision was met with fierce protests from Burnley players and staff, Conte had no such doubts.

‘It was 200% a penalty, not 100%,’ Conte said in his post-match press conference.

‘It was so clear. When your arm is in this way and you take the ball. I think it was so clear.’
