Kane only scored two goals at the World Cup last year – against Senegal in the Round of 16 as well as his first penalty against Les Blues in the last eight.

His first World Cup tournament in Russia back in 2018 was far more fruitful, with Kane scoring six goals as England reached the semi-finals to earn himself the golden boot.

Kane became just the second English player in history to win the iconic individual award, following on from at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

The striker’s first major tournament in a Three Lions shirt was Euro 2016, but his four appearances in France failed to yield a goal.
