According to , Premier League clubs are paying their players an average of £2.87m pounds per year.
This equates to an average weekly salary of around £55,000 for players.
Manchester United players are the biggest earners in the league, with their playing staff taking home an average of £7.19m per year.
and players have the next highest average salaries with £6.79m, ahead of Liverpool (£5.25m), Tottenham (£3.75m) and (£3.56m).
Leeds and Brentford players receive the lowest average salaries with £640,000 per year, just slightly less than Brighton (£1.13m), Bournemouth (£1.08m) and Nottingham Forest (£960,000).
Manchester City midfielder is the best paid player in the Premier League with £400,000 a week, ahead of Etihad teammate Haaland and Manchester United’s who both earn £375,000.

Just like with the players, the salaries earnt by Premier League managers varies from club to club.
According to , Guardiola is the highest earning manager in the league, earning £19m per year to take charge at Manchester City.
Liverpool boss Klopp is paid £16m by the hierarchy at Anfield, whilst is given £15m in north London.
Graham Potter is reportedly paid £10m at Chelsea, just ahead of Erik ten Hag (£9m) and Mikel Arteta (£8.3m).
